Emily Irene VanCamp initially aspired to be a professional performer, but became interested following a visit to Katie at the Ladies Room film set. When she started taking acting classes, Emily Irene VanCamp also got guest spots on television series in Canada. The shows she was a part of, among other ones included: Are You Scared of the Dark? Radio Active and Dice. VanCamp made a significant career break after he was selected to play the role of regular Sam Dolan in WB's horror show, the mystery Glory Days.
