Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe is an American country music artist and singer. Following the release of two singles and an album entitled Satisfied in 2007 she formed a band named Pistol Annies with Angaleena Presley and Miranda Lambert and released her second album, titled Like a Rose in 2013. Ashley Monroe has been in public service for more than 15 years, and spent five years serving as a deputy city manager for Iowa City. In Riverside Ashley supports everyday operations of the village's services, while also implementing the strategic vision of elected officials and the entire community. Her previous roles included municipal planning government communications budgeting personnel management and collective bargaining as well as focusing on climate-related initiatives. Ashley gained valuable insight from working with national organisations and also from her work with various communities. Ashley's teaching focuses on the present approach to management and leadership within public organizations from an experienced professional. She focuses on adapting ethical and strategic decisions to meet today's opportunities and challenges. She also helps navigate intergovernmental relationships.
